About Incarnatus
Incarnatus Performing Arts began as an invitation in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Creating Catholic Art in Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana was always a desire in the hearts of many, and the Lord made a way! Our mission is "Creating Beauty for the Glory of God", and we strive to achieve this mission by His grace. The arts, which are meant to point us to God, THE Creator, provide us an opportunity to explore the world and our humanity. In the performing arts, the written word is embodied -- the word becomes flesh, just as Jesus, THE Word of God, became flesh in His Incarnation. Theatre and Comedy help us to encounter the Lord, to explore the experience of others, to ask difficult questions, to participate in culture, and simply to have fun -- in short, to help form us as a whole person. With God and His Church as our guide, we strive to create beautiful experiences for our audience, to cultivate the talents and gifts of our participants, and foster a vibrant Catholic community in Kentuckiana.​
